Financial Aid

Because the Master of Engineering Management Program is a professional degree rather than a research degree, most students pay their own tuition costs.

Loans

US citizens and eligible non-citizens are able to borrow through the Federal Stafford Loan Program. Applicants for assistance through this program must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which may be completed online by visiting the FAFSA application page. International applicants are not eligible for Federal loans; however, many international students take out loans in their home countries, and some US banks may offer loans to international students for study in the US.

Scholarships, Fellowships and Assistantships

FIU and the College of Engineering and Computing offer a variety of fellowships, assistantships, and scholarships to qualified domestic and international students. The amounts of these awards vary depending on the type of award, but they may provide full tuition and a monthly stipend. You can look for scholarships online at https://fiu.academicworks.com/
